CoolIT Systems Celebrates Earth Day 2022 With 1.1+Billion kWh Saved

On Earth Day 2022, we celebrate the environmental impact CoolIT technology has made throughout our 21 years of business and we look forward to a bright future of reducing the environmental footprint of our consumer and commercial customers around the world.

By the end of 2021, CoolIT technology has avoided the consumption of over 1.1 Billion kWh, which is equivalent to 779,551 Metric Tons of CO₂.

This is equivalent to greenhouse gas emissions from over:

• 167,969 gasoline powered cars driven for one year
• 1,804,825 barrels of oil consumed
• 98,195 homes’ energy use for one year
• 2 natural gas fired plants operating for one year
• 94.8 billion smartphone charges

This is equivalent to carbon sequestered by:

• 12,889,938 trees planted and grown for 10 years
• 922,548 acres of U.S. forests in one year
