Program Manager

Looking to join a fast-paced and energetic company, Mei started at CoolIT in the Supply Chain group as a Procurement Analyst. She quickly adopted CoolIT’s culture and in a pursuit to continue learning and growing, moved into Project Management, and then advancing into Program Management. In these positions, Mei has worked closely with internal teams to support some of CoolIT Systems key DCS clients through NPI. Today, she is accountable for the planning, development and launch of new product introductions. One of her favourite aspects of the role is being able to work closely and collaboratively with the internal team at CoolIT while supporting global brands in the data center industry and enabling server technology to perform at its peak! Mei joined the team 3 years ago in November 2017 and has continued to be an invaluable and driven team member at CoolIT.

Mei graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a major in Business and Supply Chain Management. Building on her educational path, Mei gained certification as a PMP while working at CoolIT.

Mei’s previous career background stems from work in Supply Chain, Finance and Operations. One of her previous roles was in Supply & Finance at the City of Calgary where she gained experience with bid analysis and award, cost tracking, and negotiations. Mei also worked as a National Operations Specialist at Marsh & McLennan where she evaluated client benefit plans, developed solutions to client issues and improved workflow efficiencies.

Outside of work, Mei has several hobbies she enjoys spending time with. Painting, baking, and taking care of her houseplants are some of the activities she loves most. If Mei had the opportunity to change her education, she would be interested in studying Engineering – both of her parents have Engineering degrees!

Mei’s work has had a great impact in leading project schedules, resources and budgets while ensuring all product commitments are met. Thank you, Mei!
