Fan Questions On DDB 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Is it possible to reverse the airflow from the fan across the rad on the dual drive bay so it exhausts hot air out the front of the case. also, i have read of a fan control being on the ddb.https://www.coolitsystems.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=14&func=view&catid=8&id=1055 where is the control on the board of the ddb, exactly?

Hi TheJunglist,

If the air was reversed on your DDB then you would have a lot of heat coming out of the front of your chassis and if your computer is at your feet they could get pretty toasty. Also, this would be a counter productive cooling solution. The switch on the unit is within finger reach. I would strongly recommend leaving the switch alone because if you set the switch to low then when your computer is at load your GPU's would not be getting sufficient cooling, likewise if you put the switch on high the fans will be really loud. If you do mod the DDB in any way that will void the warranty.
